As the school year approaches, the Kenton County Public Library is offering a range of resources to support students, parents, and educators during the transition from summer break.
The library provides access to Brainfuse, an online platform that offers live homework help daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Students can connect with tutors in various subjects and prepare for standardized tests. The service also includes an adult learning center for those studying for the GED, U.S. Citizenship test, Microsoft Office certification, or seeking career development.
Encyclopedias and dictionaries are available through the library’s collection to assist with research projects and papers. For additional academic support, Learning Express supplies test preparation materials and skill-building resources tailored for grades 4-8, high schoolers, college students, and adults.
Teachables is another tool offered by the library that allows users to search worksheets and packets by grade level or topic. This resource supports teachers as well as parents who want to provide extra practice at home for children in preschool through sixth grade.

For community members interested in continuing education or learning new skills outside of traditional schooling, Gale Courses offers free online classes in areas such as accounting, business, computers, healthcare, language arts, writing, and more.
