Kenton County Public Library expands support services for local educators
Kari Jones, Outreach Branch Manager | Kenton County Public Library

As the school year nears, the Kenton County Public Library is offering a range of free resources to support educators, including classroom teachers, specialists, and homeschool parents.

The library’s STREAM Centers, located at the Erlanger and Covington branches, provide access to equipment such as a large poster printer, Cricut machine, sticker printer, 3D printer, heat press, engraver, and button maker. These tools are intended for creating classroom materials like banners and custom stickers. While use of the equipment is free aside from material costs, training is required for most machines. Educators can schedule appointments through the library’s website at https://www.kentonlibrary.org/stream or by phone.

In addition to creative resources, the library’s Educator Services division offers educator library cards, curriculum kits, class visits, homeschool resources, and access to Scholastic Teachables. These services aim to simplify lesson planning and provide high-quality educational materials.

Kari Jones, Outreach Branch Manager at Kenton County Public Library, stated: “We know that teachers pour their hearts, and often their own resources, into their classrooms. Through programs like the STREAM Center and our School Services division, we’re proud to support the educators shaping our community’s future. Our goal is to make it easier for them to access the tools, materials and resources they need to help students thrive.”
