The City of Ludlow is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy for its representative on the Kenton County Joint Board of Adjustment. The position requires that the applicant be a resident of Ludlow.

The Kenton County Joint Board of Adjustment represents eight jurisdictions within Kenton County, including Bromley, Fairview, Independence, Kenton Vale, Ludlow, Ryland Heights, Unincorporated Kenton County, and Elsmere. The board is composed of seven citizen members and has the authority to make decisions on various zoning matters. These include approving applications for changes from one non-conforming use to another, issuing Conditional Use Permits, hearing cases where there are alleged errors in zoning regulation enforcement by administrative officials, and granting variances.

Meetings for the board alternate monthly between Covington at the Kenton County Government Center and Independence at the Kenton County Court House.
