Ludlow Man, 67, Passes Away in Edgewood

Ludlow, Ky. - Philip Lee Rumping, 67, of Ludlow, Kentucky, died on June 6, 2025, in Edgewood. Born on April 18, 1958, Philip was remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Barger Rumping; children, Gregory Lee Rumping and Lori Ann Rumping; grandchildren, Nathan, Jake, Isabella, and Aedan; sister, Tina Rumping Groh; and brother, Frank Rumping Jr.

Philip was predeceased by his parents, Sarah Lunsford Rumping and Frank Rumping Sr, and brother, Joe Rumping.

A gathering to celebrate Philip's life will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 29th at All Fathers Meadery, 6685 4 Mile Rd, Melbourne, KY 41059. In lieu of flowers, contributions for the rehabilitation of the Barger/Rumping homestead are welcomed.
