Georgiana L. Reed, 89, Remembered for Compassionate Care and Devotion to Faith

Georgiana L. Reed, 89, of Park Hills, passed away on April 21, 2025, at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills. Born on February 1, 1936, in Rensselaer, Indiana, she was a devoted Retired Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Covington, where she touched many lives with her compassionate care.

Georgiana was not just a nurse; she was a nurturing spirit who extended her dedication beyond her profession. Active in St. Agnes Church and the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, she served on various committees and ministries, exemplifying her faith through service as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Georgiana's kindness and warmth touched all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in square dancing and camping with her late husband, Doran Reed. These cherished memories were the heartbeat of her life. Georgiana is survived by her brother, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who brought her joy throughout her life.

Predeceased by her husband Doran Reed, as well as siblings Wayne, Bernard, Robert, Thomas, James Knouff, Pauline Mullin, Charlotte Faucher, Virginia Schanlaub, Bernadine Miller, Mary Rowinski, and Betty Knouff, a visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington on April 28, 2025. Memorial contributions can be made to causes close to her heart.
