The acclaimed music duo 123 Andrés is scheduled to perform a concert at the Kenton County Public Library, featuring a bilingual educational program. The duo, consisting of Andrés and his wife Christina, is known for performing interactive concerts across the United States in both Spanish and English. Their music, aimed at children, incorporates diverse sounds and rhythms from Latin America and teaches language through engaging and energetic performances. The couple's tracks cover various themes such as math and culture.

Andrés, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, began learning guitar at a young age and later completed a doctorate in music. Christina hails from a bilingual immigrant family and was once a public school teacher. Together, they have devoted themselves to 123 Andrés, aiming to build cultural connections for Latin families and provide educational experiences for young audiences.

Their album "We Grow Together," released in 2024, earned a Grammy for Best Children’s Album. They have also received the Parents’ Choice Silver and Gold Award and recognition from the American Library Association for a Notable Children’s Recording. Beyond their music, the duo has authored a series of bilingual picture books and serve as co-hosts of "Jamming on the Job," a PBS podcast exploring different careers for children.

The family concert is set for Wednesday, April 23, from 6 to 7 PM at the Erlanger Branch located at 401 Kenton Lands, Erlanger, KY. The event is suitable for children 18 months and older and is free to attend without a requirement for registration. Pizza will be offered after the concert while supplies last.
