The Kenton County Public Library (KCPL) has announced new appointments for three of its team members. These transitions mark significant milestones in their careers and are expected to bring fresh perspectives to the library's operations.

Kari Jones has been appointed as the Outreach Branch Manager. Kari began her career at KCPL 25 years ago as a shelver and has since taken on various roles, including assistant programmer, children's services coordinator, homebound manager, and program coordinator. Her dedication to outreach and community engagement makes her an ideal fit for this leadership position. "We are excited to see her bring her vision and expertise as the Outreach Branch Manager," stated KCPL.

Amy Foster joins KCPL as the new Branch Manager of the Covington Branch. A Northern Kentucky native, Amy holds a B.A. in Geography from Morehead State University and an M.S.L.S. from the University of Kentucky. Her experience includes working in law libraries and spending 14 years at Boone County Public Library. "We’re excited to welcome Amy Foster," said KCPL about her appointment.

Paul Duryea is set to lead the soon-to-open Latonia Branch as its Branch Manager. Previously serving as the Covington Branch Manager, Paul has been with KCPL since 2006, contributing across different branches in various roles. His previous leadership at Covington is expected to continue successfully at Latonia.

These changes come as part of KCPL's ongoing efforts to enhance library services across its branches. The public is encouraged to visit their local branch or learn more about available services by visiting kentonlibrary.org.
