Donald John Finck, 87, of Covington, peacefully passed away on March 6, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice. Recognized as a dedicated family man, his kindness and loving nature left a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path.

Donald proudly graduated from Bellevue High School and served in the United States Army, showcasing his patriotism. As a foreman at Litton Conveyer Systems, he gained the respect of his coworkers for his hard work and leadership skills.

An ardent sports enthusiast, Donald held a deep love for University of Kentucky basketball and football, and he proudly held Cincinnati Bengals season tickets. His own athletic achievements, highlighted by a high school football state championship, were lifelong sources of pride. He took immense pleasure in supporting his grandson's college football coaching endeavors, showcasing his unwavering devotion to family.

Donald's dedication to family and friends was evident in his routines, such as weekly coffee gatherings with his high school buddies. His caring nature, as a father, grandfather, and friend, created enduring memories that will be treasured by those who knew him.

Survived by son David (Michele) Finck and grandchildren Danielle Bramlage (Greg), Zachary Finck (Serenna), Miranda Heidrich (Adam), Ryan Finck (Miranda), and Bret Finck, along with great-grandchildren Peighton, Morgan, Wyatt, Nolan, Rose, and Banks. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Finck, among others.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Sts. Boniface & James Church in Ludlow, with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery.
