The Kenton County Public Library's Career and Job Services Division offers various resources to assist individuals in their job search. These resources are designed to help with the transition into a new career, which can often be challenging.
The library provides classes aimed at helping individuals adapt to new circumstances and prepare for future career steps. Some of these classes include "Interviewing Skills Workshop," "Resume Basics for Today," "Research Strategies for the Job Seeker," "Transferable Skills Workshop," "Core Skills Workshop," and "The Fine Art of Job Correspondence."
While the library does not assist with filing for unemployment, its programs can contribute towards Work Search Requirements for those receiving Unemployment Insurance through the State of Kentucky.
For more information on getting started with unemployment and Kentucky’s weekly Work Search Requirements, additional resources are available.
