Ludlow, Kentucky—Wilma York, 87, of Ludlow, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was born on April 17, 1937, in Knott County, beginning a life filled with passion and kindness. Wilma was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She remained close to her community, working at Duro Paper Bag Company and later managing the deli at IGA in Ludlow. A dedicated member of Ludlow Baptist Church, Wilma spent her retirement enjoying time with her family and wintering in Florida.

Wilma is survived by her cherished daughters, Genise (Pat) Crowley and Mona Glueck; beloved son, Dwaine (Susan) York; brothers, Everett Noe (JR) and Glen Noe; 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilgus York; parents, Everett and Dana Noe; sister, Helen Ison; and brother, Ronnie Noe.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.

Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 3 Columbus Circle, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10019.
