Born on March 31, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, Vergie devoted herself to her family, finding great joy in their company. She was renowned for her lively spirit and her passion for playing Bingo, a hobby that brought her immense pleasure and companionship.
Vergie is survived by her son, Anthony (Linda) Stephens of Melbourne; her brothers, Lawrence Gregory of Verona and Ernest Gregory of Cincinnati; as well as her six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, whose hearts will carry her memory forever. She was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Stephens, and her sister, Imogene Gregory.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 12:00 PM, all to be held at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, located at 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky.
Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
