During his 39-year tenure at the Norfolk Southern Railroad, Ronald worked as a conductor, earning the respect of his colleagues and the community. His service in the United States Army instilled in him a sense of discipline that he carried throughout his life.
A devoted family man, Ronald's proudest moments revolved around his family. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Raetta Price, and his children Chad Price, Dale (Tamara) Price, and Rhonda Price. Ronald's heart was filled with pride by his 3 grandchildren Ashleigh, Ciara, and Shaelyn, and 2 great-grandchildren Marley and Jace. He found joy in celebrating life's moments with his loved ones.
An enthusiast of Kentucky Basketball and the Cleveland Browns, Ronald appreciated the camaraderie and joy sports brought into his life. His hobbies included woodworking, yard maintenance, and a love for cars and motorcycles. On the golf course, he found peace and enjoyment in the outdoors. Halloween was a special holiday for him, reflecting his passion for creativity and fun.
Ronald will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his zest for life, and the happiness he brought to every gathering.
Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on February 4, 2025, at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home in Ludlow. Ronald will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth.
Ronald's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, as his legacy of love and dedication continues to inspire all who knew him.
