Covington Branch hosts Spanish installation as part of BLINK festival

Covington Branch of the library | Covington Branch of the library

The Covington Branch of the library is inviting visitors to start their BLINK experience at its location. A notable installation titled "Loophole," arriving from Spain, will be featured in the library's parking lot. Library staff will be present near the installation with a community art project for attendees and will distribute light-up foam wands while supplies last.

The library encourages visitors to begin their journey at this branch for several reasons: free light-up foam wands are available, an impressive installation can be seen in the parking lot, the Midway Parking Garage is conveniently located across the street on Fifth and Scott, and library staff will be there to welcome guests.

Additionally, the library will participate in the BLINK parade. However, some logistical changes should be noted. The parking lot of the Covington Branch will close from October 15-21, although handicapped spots remain accessible. Patrons who park at the Midtown Garage during regular hours can receive parking validation tickets. The book drop won't be accessible after 6 p.m. from October 17-20, and on Thursday, October 17, the library will close early at 6 p.m.
